Happy holidays! I apologize that my sustainable Christmas gift guide is so late this year (I just finished my final papers this past weekend). Below are some general sustainable gift giving tips and recommendations!

General Tips

  • Support your local shops rather than ordering online.
  • If you don’t have a lot of local shops to choose from, be sure to buy gifts from ethical, B-corporation brands.
  • Buy plastic-free gifts. Not only are plastics bad for the environment, but they also aren’t good for our health.
  • Give experience gifts! GroupOn has a lot of fun options, from Paint Nite to workout studio passes.
  • Let’s be honest, most of us don’t have our emergency to-go kit prepared. Everyone should have solar + hand crank radio that can also charge your phone.
